Parliamentary Drinks Reception with the Rt. Hon. Dr Liam Fox MP

Conservative Way Forward were delighted to host 200 supporters at a Parliamentary Summer Drinks Party on the House of Commons Terrace last night.

With Parliamentary sovereignty reasserted, a summer's evening of wine and political conversation was enjoyed at the House of Commons.

Dr Fox played a fundamental role in the campaign to leave the European Union. During the campaign, his was a measured and diplomatic voice of reason. His appointment as Secretary of State for International Trade follows a hugely experienced career in Westminster, he was previously Defence Secretary and Party Chairman. We are delighted that he has been reappointed to Cabinet and will be leading the way in negotiating new trade deals around the world.

Dr Liam Fox MP, Secretary of State for the new department for International Trade, spoke about his recent appointment and the exciting path ahead for the country.

"We are building something unique for our country and for the world. There are new ways of doing business."

"We intend to champion free trade. Free trade has taken more people out of poverty than anything else in history."

"Our job is to remove impediments to trade, whether real or perceived."

"I can't remember a time when I was so optimistic about Britain's future. Our country has regained its confidence and its self-respect."

Dr Fox finished his fantastic speech with a quote from Tennyson:

"So many worlds, so much to do, so little done, such things to be."

Thirsty after hot summer, most of us arrived just for cooling drinks – yet the air was heated by the flame of speech.
How The RT. HON. DR Liam Fox was able to generate such fire? Did Greg (MP for Chelsea and Fulham) give him a hand?

Aims, ambitions, aspirations … all seem to be clear and the same; British version of building the future in most unique way – hence new concept of FREE TRADE. May “FREE” adds its own magic to final success.

Also handy to know, that before the event, I had sown the seed of any success for UK. From my credit card, I donated a small lump sum to the ruling Conservative Party. May the power of intention fertilise that seed, and may everyone follow my deed. Yet nobody will beat me, at giving I am the greatest – the widow’s from the Bible spared everything she possessed – I decided to borrow from Barclays so as to donate.
The name on my credit card is DREAMS COME TRUE, thus able to energise the greatest visions.

May Theresa May make good use of it.
