As June 23rd approached with the polls showing the EU referendum in the balance I was struck by the realisation that we could be witnessing the final chapter of David Cameron’s time as Conservative Leader and Prime Minister. Having led us to our first parliamentary majority since 1992 just last May, David Cameron has ultimately served less time as Prime Minister than John Major, the man who delivered that last outright victory twenty four years ago. Crowdfunding has enjoyed a boom in recent years with websites such as Kickstarter and Gofundme encouraging the general public to invest cash in new ideas and businesses. On Friday the 24th, having been up all night, like everyone who campaigned for Leave, I was ecstatic with the unexpected referendum result. The British public are crying out for change and a leader who they can trust with the challenging, but exciting challenge of taking us out of the European Union, whilst also tackling the many other issues affecting everyday people up and down the country. Michael Gove is the leadership candidate with strong principles and conviction.
