Conservative Way Forward was founded in 1991 to defend and build upon the achievements of the Conservative Party under Margaret Thatcher's leadership, and to adapt the principles of her era in government to modern concerns and challenges.

Two decades later, Conservative Way Forward has never been more vibrant, with a growing and diverse membership contributing to the future of conservatism in Britain.

The core aim of Conservative Way Forward is to provide a forum for all those who share our philosophy, from Parliament to the constituencies.

Speaker meetings (like our widely acclaimed Forthright series), seminars, policy weekends, drinks receptions and gala dinners are regular features of our activities, supported and attended by Government Ministers past, present and future.

Associate Members of Conservative Way Forward also receive copies of all CWF publications, including Forward magazine and policy papers.

Conservative Way Forward is a not-for-profit organisation, and none of our Board of Trustees or Executive Committee are paid for the work they do. Every penny we raise is spent on ensuring conservatism is as dominant a force in 21st Century Britain as it was in the 20th Century.

Associate Membership of CWF is open to all members of the UK Conservative Party.
